Anatrack Ltd is a spin-out from the United Kingdom Natural Environment Research Council's Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH). Founded in 2000, its primary purpose is to develop and market ecological software designed in CEH, with a particular interest in specialist GIS software for recording spatial data of individually-marked animals and modelling animal populations in relation to changing land-use. All 3 full-time staff of Anatrack have doctorates in Environmental Sciences, with some 60 years of research experience over a wide range of topics. Based at Oxford University and in Dorset, they are deeply committed to science-based conservation that uses new technologies to integrate local-level results for decision making at all levels from policy-making to field applications.
